of Light

The brief

Photograph a building
as if it were breathing.

The Meridian Foundation's new headquarters was conceived around a single, vertiginous atrium — a column of daylight cut through nine floors of pale concrete. Our task was not to document the architecture, but to chase the way light migrates across it from first light to last.

We shot across four days, returning to the same vantage at different hours so the same surface could be read as warm, then cold, then gold. Long exposures softened the few people who passed through into quiet smudges of motion, leaving the structure itself serene and exact.

The resulting series treats the atrium as a sundial — each frame a timestamp written in shadow. It now anchors the Foundation's identity across print and screen.
